Three methods to distinguish
the faults of the
rolling bearing
Rolling bearing is
a high precision component on the machinery equipment, so we must check it
carefully during the production and processing. Let´s know about the following three methods to
distinguish the faults of the rolling bearing:
1. Distinguish
through the sound
This method needs
the related personnel have a rich experience, it requires the personnel to
distinguish whether the sound is made by the rolling bearing or not. So this
work must be done by specialized personnel who can hear the sound clearly made
by the rolling bearing with listening gear.
2. Distinguish
through the working temperature of the rolling bearing
This method is
only suitable to be used in the condition where the working state of the
rolling bearing changes little. We record the working temperature of the
rolling bearing continuously to do the job. When the rolling bearing appears
some faults, its temperature would rise and change irregularly.
3. Distinguish
through the state of the lubricant
Sample and analyze
the lubricant, try to judge whether the dirt and metal powder have entered it.
This method is efficient especially to the large-scale rolling bearing which
could not be observed near by.
